The book The awakening of movement with the ball brings to the reader a story of discovery and self-knowledge through an unprecedented view on how to use the Swiss ball, and tells the story and creation of the Samiball Method, which was first inspired by the ancient philosophy of yoga, dance, capoeira and sports such as surfing and kitesurfing. The book also innovatively addresses the influence and applicability of the method in rehabilitation / physiotherapy and functional training. The book is well didactic and illustrative and contains several ball positions, anatomical drawings, photographs of nature and the history of the Samiball method, which makes this reading light and pleasant. The work was divided into 10 chapters, in which the author - in addition to reporting on the creation of the Samiball Method - briefly touched on the history of SWISS BALL, YOGA, DANCE, CAPOEIRA, KINESIOLOGY and KINESIOTHERAPY. It also addressed the applicability of the Samiball method as a form of treatment, providing two abstracts that he produced in his college time; Finally, the relationship between the method and sports (SURFING and KITESURFING) was also dealt with.
