Gilbert (Gil for short!) is an armadillo who has a good way to handle every hard situation. Armadillo Gil has learned to trust his gut and listen to his feelings. He understands that, like happiness, sadness is also a part of life. Gil is able to break free of engrained beliefs and live a lighter, happier life. He knows that its normal to feel fear or shame, for example, which is why he offers help to his friends when he realizes theyre feeling that way. Armadillo Gil teaches us that all feelings are important and that when we invalidate any of them, we limit our emotions and indeed our life.
